Our Policy
Client Agreement
The client whose name appears on the booking should understand that bookings will not proceed without this agreement. By confirming the booking, the client agrees to read through and abide by this policy. They also understand that they are responsible for any other individuals under the booking name.
Booking Fee
- A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure all appointments.
- Balance must be paid in CASH at the commencement of the appointment.
Early Start Fee
- A surcharge of $50 is involved for bookings outside of business hours.
- Bookings before 6 am are charged $50 for the first hour and $35 per consecutive hour.
Late Arrival
- A 15-minute grace period will be given to each client.
- After 15 minutes, a late fee of $50 will be charged on top of the final balance.
- After 20 minutes, the appointment will be canceled, and the deposit will NOT be refunded.
Cancellation
- The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE unless the appointment is canceled by the artist due to unforeseen reasons.
- The Makeup Artist reserves the right to refuse service to clients with infectious conditions or displaying inappropriate, abusive, or threatening behaviors. If services are refused, the booking fee will NOT be refunded.
Rescheduling
- To reschedule, send an email at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
- The deposit can be credited toward a new appointment.
- Clients may only reschedule ONCE with the initial deposit.
- Rescheduled appointments must be within a 3-month period.
Guests
- Notify us if you are bringing any guests.
- Our salon is female-friendly; male visitors MAY be denied access to the studio.
- NO children allowed in the studio.
Travel Booking Fee
- Clients are required to pay both service (including bond) and travel fees upfront to confirm the booking.
- 50% of the total service fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Setup Requirements
- Clients are responsible for providing a safe and adequate working environment for the artist.
- The location must include lots of natural or lamp lighting, enough space, outlets, a table for makeup and tools, and a chair (preferably a high chair).
Delayed Start
- Clients must ensure individuals are ready to start upon arrival.
- A delayed start fee of $50 will be added to the total after being 15 minutes late. After 20 minutes of being late, your booking is at risk of being canceled.
- 50% of the total service fee and full travel fee will NOT be refunded.
Bond
- A $50 delayed start bond fee is due before booking.
- Amount refunded at the end of booking IF booking proceeded as scheduled.
Group Bookings (Local)
- Travel is only available for a minimum group of 4 individuals.
Travel Fee (Local)
- There is a $150 flat rate for call-outs up to 45 minutes travel from my home studio.
- Anything further than 45 minutes would be at an additional cost.
Travel Fee (Interstate/International)
- Travel expenses will be outlined separately from the service fee.
- Travel expenses include but are NOT limited to transportation, accommodation, travel insurance, parking, and tolls. This will be communicated and agreed upon with clients before scheduling the appointment.
Preparation
- Please come to your appointment prepared.
- It is preferred that you have an inspiration photo ready.
- If you would like to add an additional service, be sure to include it when booking. If not, notify us prior to your booking. Service may be declined if requested at the last minute.
Health and Safety
- Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported prior to application.
Photo and Video Release
- Photos and/or videos may be taken for promotional use online and printed material. If you do not agree, please notify the artist prior to any photography.
Unsatisfactory Service
- The client is encouraged to communicate any concerns or dissatisfaction immediately during the makeup session or upon noticing the issue.
- Once service is complete, they are to pay the FULL-service amount.
By confirming your appointment by deposit, you are also declaring that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
